Sahasra’s objective is to continuously keep working towards developing more eco-friendly organic agri-input products. In the process, we use cutting-edge technologies to maximize farmer income and minimize detrimental environmental impacts such as pesticide pollution, soil erosion, and greenhouse gas emissions.
Sahasra Crop Science is continuously working towards developing eco-friendly organic products; this has required a relentless passion for research and innovation. Hence, from its inception, Sahasra has been moving forward to develop sustainable agri-inputs to safeguard the crops, soil, and environment. In the process, cutting-edge technologies have been developed to maximize farmer income and minimize detrimental environmental impacts. Today Sahasra perhaps has one of the strongest R&D teams led by highly acclaimed Scientists having vast working experience in Agri and allied areas. Sahasra R&D undertakes every scientific breakthrough of the laboratory to the field level studies in different agro-climatic zones for evaluating the outcome of novel formulations.
Sahasra R & D center, recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, is equipped with world-class laboratory equipment and technologies. Our superior technological expertise helps us to develop new products continuously for the benefit of the farming community. We are also having a pilot plant facility for testing the efficacy of new products before being launched commercially. Our team is having regular interactions and collaborative research work and shares knowledge with various state, national, and international research institutes, and universities for mutual benefit. We are also helping research scholars in their projects and providing hands-on lessons at our center.
Sahasra believes in collaborative work to further knowledge assimilation and dissemination. As part of this, Sahasra’s R&D center has developed excellent liaisons with State Agricultural Universities, National Agricultural Research Institutes, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK), and other reputed Institutions for various research projects the outcome of which can sustainably be beneficial to humankind at large. Under Industry-Academia & Industry-Institute interaction, Sahasra R&D center signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with Mizoram University (A Central University), Aizawl, Mizoram, India, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, SR University, Warangal, Telangana, Hyderabad, Salale University, Ethiopia.
